Privacy Policy
ClubDues (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a dues, payments, and budget tool for youth and amateur sports clubs, operated by Sluggin' & Glovin'. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used. We keep it simple: we collect only what the app needs to work, we don't sell your data, and we don't run advertising or third-party tracking.
Who uses ClubDues
ClubDues is intended for use by adults — club treasurers, administrators, and coaches — to manage their club's finances. The app is not directed to children and is not intended for use by children.
Information we handle
- Account information — your name and email address, used to create and secure your account and identify you within your club.
- Club records you enter — teams, coaches, member/family accounts (which may include a player's name and a parent/guardian's name, email, and phone number), dues amounts, payments (date, amount, method, notes), raffle ticket records, schedules, and expense/income transactions.
- Technical data — standard information needed to operate the service securely (e.g., authentication tokens). We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
ClubDues does not process credit-card or bank payments. “Payments” are records you enter manually (e.g., “$250 — Check”); the app does not store card numbers or bank account details.
How we use information
- To provide the app's core features — tracking dues, balances, budgets, raffles, and schedules for your club.
- To authenticate you and keep each club's data private to that club.
- To send the messages you initiate (e.g., a payment reminder you choose to email opens in your own mail app).
How information is stored and protected
Data is stored in a hosted database (Supabase) and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access is restricted by row-level security so that members of one club cannot see another club's data.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for advertising. Information is visible only to authorized members of your own club and to the service providers that host the app on our behalf (e.g., our database and hosting providers), who process it solely to operate the service.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below; we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
Your choices
You can view and edit the data you enter directly in the app, and sign out at any time. To request export or deletion of your account, contact us.
Children's privacy
ClubDues is used by adults to administer clubs. A club's records may reference a player's name (entered by an adult administrator), but the app does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
